17 Deferred Income
Deferred income contains primarily the discount to nominal value of loans bearing no interest or interest
below market rates in return for occupancy rights at rents below the prevailing market rates amounting to
€ 363.2 million (2002: € 400.9 million). In total deferred income of € 24.1 million
(2002: € 12.1 million) is to be classified as short term.
